Nature Watch by Petter Brennan

THE CROWS DRYER:

I knew this Crow has being doing this practice for some time but to day I got him on camera. When it rains allot the crows feathers get wet.

Now the Crow being a smart  bird flies up on this mans chimney when the man has a good fire down. The crow spreads his wings out and lets the heat coming up the Cheney dry his feathers.Other times he puts his head up over the smoke to breath and stands in the heat.

When he is dry the feathers in front he hopped over to the bar near by and turns his rear end to the smoke and continues the drying. There is a pecking order and the next crow sits patiently by until he is finished to start his drying.
