In attendance all young users of the DRA youth cafe are given a waiver for their parents to sign for their wellbeing in the cafe. In addition, each youth will sign an attendance sheet and state the time that they arrive in the cafe each week.Young people are expected to stay in the cafe in the times permitted.
If they leave they must notify a youth worker and they will attempt to notify the young persons parents.
Other measures such as web blockers to facilitate the safety of internet surfing are in place now, with PC Pit stop professionals putting adequate protection on the PCS for the young users. Of course they are also supervised during the course of the youth cafe.
