Foundation Football Club Doughiska
organised a very successful Street League on the last Saturday in May, over 50
children aged between 9 and 15, 5 a-side teams from areas of Doughiska
Roscam Ardaun and environ, two different pitches were lined out to accommodating
matches at the same time.
Activities started 11am and finished 3pm,
After six hours of competition Hillside FC team emerged as winner of all their
games, all teams performed extremely well and the all enjoyed themselves the winning team got both medal and trophy and
other teams received just medals – presented by Kelly Wall who is the welfare
officer of the club.
The turnout was good, fair play to the
organiser, volunteers, all teams and other young people that attended the
tournament.
