Our next event will be the Leafless Tree Detective Walk Sat Dec 8th 11amwith Matthew O Toole. Discovering trees by the bark, shape and form. As some of us may know the trees with their leaves on, how many of us can identify them in Autumn and Winter when they fall. We will be meeting near the council compound at the back of the Doughiska Playground. Anyone getting buses from town can get the 409 bus, running every 15 mins from Eyre Square, getting off near the Centra shop on the Doughiska rd.
All ages welcome, a lovely free event for the whole family.!!
I recently went on this walk with the Terryland Forest Park and I am delighted that Matthew will take the time for us,to do the same in Merlin Woods, where we have many decidous and native species to explore...
