Foundation fc held their 2nd annual club open day on saturday the 30th of July at doughiska park, home of foundation fc. And despite the intermittent rain showers over 45? Children(girls and boys) from ages 7-12? took part in 2hours of fun football activities delivered by coaches from foundation fc. .All the children and coaches enjoyed the day and each child received a certificate of attendance from the FAI. Club Open Days are supported by the FAI's Intercultural Football Programme and the Programmes National Coordinator Des Tomlinson was in attendance at Doughiska Park and commented "dougiska is an area of immense diversity, Foundation fc has worked hard to successfully encourage all children and adults regardless of background from the doughiska and surrounding areas to get involved with Football, the Club Open Day is a testimony to all those involved with trying to develop and progress foundation fc for the benefit of the whole community"
