The races commenced on Monday the 15th of July, the city of Galway is enjoying a significant increase in the numbers of visitors from all over the world . Galway races is a very important and probably the biggest event in  Galway. It comes up once a year with estimated revenue of about 40 -60 million to the tourism industry
