Planing my learning path workshops - By (City of Galway VEC)

What is this course about?

This course is a series of workshops for people who are involved in Education in their own community and would now like to look at how they might take their study to a new level.

The course has been developed by City of Galway VEC Community Education Service and the Galway Adult Learner Guidance Service.

It is specifically to meet the learning needs of Community Education learners. The course will help learners identify what type of courses they want to do, what skills the learner my already have and then what are the next steps to take you there.

What are the workshops about?

There are 3 workshops in the series:

1). Where do you want to go?

It's about you exploring your interests, values, personality.

2). How can you use your skill to get you there?

What skill do already have and what new skills might you need to develop?

3). What is the next step?

Where are the learning opportunities to take you to you destination?

The workshops will take place in 2 locations, you may register for either location:

i). Ballybane Community Resouce Centre

Tuesday 9th, 16th and 23 November - 7PM - 9PM

ii).Westside Community Resource Centre

Thursday 11th, 18th and 25th November - 10AM -12PM

Who can attend?

Anyone involved in Community Education classes in Westside and Ballybane

There is NO fee for the course
